Minor Operations
Minor surgical operations are carried out, following consultation with your doctor, at special sessions, by appointment.
Cryotherapy Clinic
This treatment involves the freezing of certain superficial skin lumps and bumps. It is suitable for some skin lesions. An appointment should be made with your GP to ascertain whether this treatment would be appropriate.
Cervical Smears
This test involves the painless sampling of cells from the neck of the womb and is a test for the detection of the changes that occur before cancer develops. We recommend that all women up to the age of 65 years have regular cervical smears.
Smears may be taken by the practice nurse in the well woman clinic. Please remember to indicate that you want a smear taken when you book your appointment.
Well Baby Clinics
These are held on Wednesday afternoons by appointment and organised by our health visitor.
Child Health Surveillance
All the doctors and the health visitor carry out regular child development assessments at the Wednesday afternoon clinic.
Vaccination Clinics For Children
These are held weekly on Wednesdays. Appointments will be sent routinely by post, or by arrangement with reception.
